MY FAVORITE FRIEND

Wow, I am so glad to be back from our long vacation to Myrtle Beach.  We had a great time seeing family and friends.  I was really glad to catch up with one of my very favorite friends, Susan.  You may remember her from an old blog post. (Click here)  Yes, she is still super busy and such a wonderful leader with Fortune (click here).  I was happy to photograph her beautiful family on the beach. It was the least I could do!  I am still so incredibly grateful to her for showing us Fortune and helping us so much. In fact, since that post about her, my husband and I did win a Lexus with the company! What a wonderful opportunity that has changed our lives in so many ways.  It hasn't just provided us with a great income, it has helped us to be extremely positive with so many negatives in this world today.  Honestly, I can say that because of this opportunity I have become a much better person in all areas of my life and I am grateful for that.  I told you she was my very favorite friend!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I wish all of you a very happy Mother's Day today.

Becoming a mother has been the most fulfilling accomplishment of my life.  God has been so wonderful to bless me with two beautiful children of my own.  I can't imagine living my life without ever feeling this love.  I am also truly thankful for my wonderful, supportive mom that God gave to me. 

Being a mother means that you are full of love, encouragement and inspiration for your children FOREVER.  I know that my mom will always be there for me and I will always be there for my babies.

Every mother, new and old needs to have a copy of one of my favorite children's books.  Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. (click on the title to visit his website)  I bought this book right after my son was born and to this day I can't finish the book without crying.  My son always asks me "What's wrong, Mommy??" and I aways tell him just like the mother in the book singing her son to sleep:

"I'll love you forever,

I'll like you for always,

As long as I'm living

my baby you'll be."

 

Enjoy every moment of being a mother today and everyday.  What a wonderful gift!

BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY

One of my friends was is town visiting this week. Well, she is here every week but is always so busy working that I never see her. That is not a complaint - she is working to make us money also! This week she took the time to stay with us. She has truly been blessed. Since starting her new business last March she is now making more money in one month than she did in one year as a nurse!! She also just won a silver Lexus with this company and yes she had to bring it to show off. That's right, I said she WON a CAR. I can't wait to win my new car! My husband and I were so impressed with this business and its possibilities we signed up. Wow, what a great decision we made! It is truly something that can change your life. Thanks Susan for showing us FHTM and helping us to make big money!

FIRST SNOW!

We were so excited to get snow this week.  It was a big deal around here to see 1 -2 inches!  This was the first snow that I have seen since I moved to New Bern.  It is also the first time my kids have seen and touched snow.  Watching as they looked out of every window in our house to make sure the snow was still there was so much fun.  I loved stare at their little faces as they looked out with amazement.  So sweet!
